Grace is 9 years old and in 4th grade. She is a very motivated learner when it’s something she wants to learn. It will be the challenge of my life to find ways to motivate and inspire her.
She is extremely kind, extremely helpful, extremely easy to irritate. Do you notice a pattern? Everything she feels is extreme. She is extremely challenging to parent.
And while I struggle to love and educate her I know I am a better person/parent because of her. I would be such a snob parent if not for her. 🙂
She enjoys reading, documentaries, and playing with friends and family.
Doesn’t he look awesome on his new bike! 🙂
Ben’s current passions include: bike riding, Plants Vs. Zombies, and Lego. Anytime I can add those elements into our homeschool I do.
You may notice that he is the only boy in the house. The contrast is striking. He doesn’t walk through the house, he jumps off things. Everything could become a sword or gun at any moment. And he is the only one really interested in video games.
He is 7 and in 2nd grade.
Faith is calm and collected. She loves doing school with Mommy…or Daddy…or anyone who will do it with her.
She says she is going to be a Mommy when she grows up.
Her favorite things include: Power Rangers, hand writing (seriously!) and playing with young children.
She is 5 and just started Kindergarten.
Sadly, we miscarried Perpetua Thanksgiving (of all days) of 2012. We don’t really know that she was a girl, we miscarried too early to know, but I had a “gut” feeling she was. Since we believe she is in Heaven we felt the name Perpetua Felicity (eternal happiness) was an apt description.
Joy is my very verbal, very inquisitive 2 year old.
Just a few months ago I would have described her as quiet, chatty, stays where you put her.
Now, now she is 2. She has so much energy! If there is something I don’t want her to play with she will find it. And beware telling her no, you might want to wear earplugs.
It’s just a phase, right?
She enjoys playing with siblings, cutting and coloring, and unloading the dishwasher.
Peace is the newest member to the family. She is currently 3 months old and honestly a joy to have around.
She enjoys spitting up everywhere, going on bike rides, and cuddling.
To see how much things have changed read this same post from two years ago.
