Grace is very verbally gifted. She is very sensitive and prone to outbursts of emotion. She is working very hard to control her emotions and she is making slow but steady progress. She is extremely extroverted resorting to talking to imaginary friends (and enemies) when her siblings are not feeling social. She is very excited that the newest member of our family seems to be just as social as she. She enjoys creating things, creating things, and creating more things. She is 6 years old and in 1st grade.
Ben’s life aspiration is to be a garbage man. To help him reach his goals we buy him toy garbage trucks and give him practical life experience by having him take out the garbage every night. Still, he persists. Outside of playing with garbage, his passions include: playing with cars, carrying groceries, and putting things in a nice neat line. He is 4 years old and just started Kindergarten and learning to read!
Faith is the introvert of the bunch. When asked to do something she does not want to do she will politely reply, “No hank oo, Mom.” Her current hobbies include: cutting and pasting (not just paper!), doing school with Mommy, and taking care of her babies. She is 3 and in tot school.
Sadly, we miscarried Perpetua Thanksgiving (of all days) of 2012. We don’t really know that she was a girl, we miscarried too early to know, but I had a “gut” feeling she was. Since we believe she is in Heaven we felt the name Perpetua Felicity (eternal happiness) was an apt description.
We became pregnant just 3 months after the miscarriage. It doesn’t take much of an imagination to understand were her name came from. Joy is currently 4 months old. She enjoys: chewing on things, screeching, and blowing raspberries (of course).
